Becoming an Expert is probably the best career advice I've read. If you review the frequency of the posts on this blog (and most of them are re-published material, not my own :O), you'll see why I'm scratching "Writer" off my list. I enjoy writing and used to write often. Maybe because writing used to be easy when I didn't worry about whether it was good or not, I just wrote. I think many of my best moments come when I'm not concerned about the pre-judged value, but rather just enjoying the activity.
